OUR EXPERIENCE



RD Titan Group Innovative TiO₂ and our associated partners are сompanies that specialize in research and development of technologies and know-how for raw titanium dioxide production (Chloride and Sulfate Processes) and novel TiO₂ grades for Paints and Coatings, Plastics, Decor Paper and special applications. 


Scientists and Engineers of our team and our partners have extensive experience in TiO₂ technologies development, manufacturing, application and post-sale technical support for various projects in different countries of the world. Members of our team have considerable experience in titanium dioxide industry (Chloride and Sulfate Processes) for such companies as Laporte, SCM, Millennium, Tioxide, Crimea Titan, Cristal, Tronox, Sumykhimprom.

Andriy Gonchar

Andriy Gonchar began his professional path in TiO₂ industry as Senior Engineer of R&D Department in 2005. In 2006 he was appointed to Deputy Head of R&D Department. He was the Head of R&D Department at Crimea Titan from 2009 to 2014. Since 2014 Andriy has been a co-founder and Director of RD Titan Group Innovative TiO2. He has been operating as Deputy CEO & Technical Director at VELTA RD TITAN since 2017.

Viktor Troshchylo started his career in 1997 as a Process Manager at Crimea Titan. Viktor was a Shift Engineer of the sulphate TiO₂ plant between 2000 and 2005. For the next four years he worked as a Senior Shift Engineer, Works Manager of the sulphate TiO₂ plant and a Senior Engineer of R&D Department. In 2009 he was appointed to the position of Deputy Head of R&D Department. Victor has been Technical Director and a co-founder of RD Titan Group Innovative TiO2 since 2014. He has been Deputy Technical Director of VELTA RD TITAN since 2017.

Oleksandr Chukhmanov

Chef Chemist

Oleksandr Chukhmanov began his professional path in TiO₂ industry as a Laboratory Chemist at Crimea Titan in 2008. After six years of experience, he held the position of Deputy Head of R&D Department from 2014 to 2017. For the next year he was the Head of R&D Department. Since 2018 Oleksandr has been operating as Chief Chemist at RD Titan Group Innovative TiO2 and VELTA RD TITAN.

Roman Gnatenko has been in chemical industry since 2003. He worked as Deputy Head of Ammonia Workshop at Severodonetsk Azot Association from 2012 to 2017. Since 2018 Roman has been working for RD Titan Group Innovative TiO2 as a Consultant. He also worked as Senior Research Engineer at VELTA RD TITAN for one year in 2019.

Mykola Medvid

Mykola Medvid has over 30 years' experience in chemical industry, half of that experience - in the production of titanium dioxide. He held the position of Сhief Process Engineer at Crimea Titan starting from 2004. From 2016 to 2018 Mykola was involved into the development of a new sulfuric acid plant at “Eastern Ore Dressing Complex” as the Deputy Chief Engineer. He joined the team of RD Titan Group Innovative TiO2 as Senior Process Engineer / Consultant in 2018.

Andriy Troshchylo is a student of Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in the Faculty of Architecture. He started his path as a Design and Planning Engineer at RD Titan Group Innovative TiO2 in 2016. He has been working for RD Titan Group Innovative TiO2 as Senior Design Engineer since 2020.

Darya Gonchar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management and a Master's degree in International Business. Darya became a Marketing Manager at RD Titan Group Innovative TiO2 in 2017.
